Mine cages: КNМ, NОV, UКОА

Corum Group designs and produces cages for people, mine cars, equipment and additional materials transportation in vertical mine shafts, equipped with single-rope and multi-rope winders.

КNМ cages are used in vertical shafts up to 1600 m deep, equipped with multi-rope winders. Standard series of KNM cages consists of 5 sizes, have 15 variants depending on loading capacity, number of floors, belt size, type and location of guides.

NOV cages are used in vertical shafts up to 900 m deep, equipped with single-rope winders. Standard series of NOV cages consists of 10 sizes, has 41 variants depending on loading capacity, number of floors, elt size, type and location of guides, equipment set and availability of balancing ropes.

Cages are manufactured using both Corum Group and Customer documentation. Individual approach to every Client while constructions design allows:

• increase cage load capacity without enlarging its weight;
• increase cage multitask capacity due to its construction rationalization;
• provide ability to descend cargo of every dimensions using the individual metal construction parameters;
• achieve the reduction of service time during planned technical support.

Cage metal construction can be produced using corrosion-resistant steel according to Customer’s wish, and in order to gain better corrosion-resistance cage may be covered with modern enamel types – HEMPADUR, PU-2K PSO, EP-773, UR-5101, HV etc.

Rich Corum design engineers experience allows perform cage communication with any type of suspension gear or grip block, which will be shipped as a part of mine cage.
