Corum machine-building enterprises (DTEK Energo) continue to strongly help miners to extract valuable thermal coal and to prepare thermal power plants for the upcoming heating season.

In seven months of this year, the company's machine builders manufactured and repaired almost 800 units of mining equipment. Among the key ones are 9 new roadheaders and shearers.

Machine builders also provided the needs of miners with 618,000 spare parts and components.

This allows to lay a more reliable foundation for the passage of upcoming heating season by thermal power plants.

"There is less and less time left before the start of the next extremely difficult autumn-winter period - about two months. But power engineers, repairmen, miners and machine builders have been intensively preparing for it during a long time. The priority is the fastest recovery. But in order for thermal power plants to work as reliably as possible in winter and balance the energy system, they must also be provided with sufficient coal reserves. For this, miners launch new longwalls, and machine builders, in their turn, provide them with the necessary mining equipment. Because in order for Ukrainians to have light and heat as long as possible despite the enemy attacks, it is important to work in synergy and as a team every day, everyone in their place," said Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energo.
