In 2023, Corum machine builders supported Ukrainian coal mining with 15 new roadheaders and shearers and 1.1 million spare parts

During the past year, in order to maintain the reliable operation of Ukrainian mines, Corum machine-building enterprises (part of DTEK Energo) produced and repaired 750 units of mining equipment.

Among the key products are 15 new roadheaders and shearers, thanks to which miners managed to extract coal at the maximum pace and maintain the necessary coal reserves for reliable thermal power plants operation and Ukrainian energy system as a whole.

Also, during 2023, machine builders provided miners with about 1.1 million spare parts and components.

"For Ukrainian machine builders, the past year was no less responsible than the unprecedented 2022. Then it was necessary to provide miners needs in conditions of production facilities relocation away from war zones to safer regions. Last year, they did everything to ensure that our coal mining enterprises produced as much as they had planned. Because the goal is the same for everyone - that Ukrainians should be with light and warmth despite any enemy dark intentions", - explained the CEO of DTEK Energo Ildar Saleev.
