Tatyana Kalugina, Director of Corum Druzhkovka Machine-Building Plant, a part of DTEK Energy, has been recognized as one of the leaders in the project "UP100. The Power of Women" project initiated by "Ukrainska Pravda" publication. This project recognizes a hundred Ukrainian women who, through their daily work, self-sacrifice, and concern for the future, make a significant contribution to the development and protection of Ukraine.

According to the project's website, Tetiana Kalugina became one of the first crisis managers in Ukraine to manage to move a large plant to the rear and continue working for victory. Under her leadership, the machine-building plant, which was located in frontline Druzhkivka, was relocated to Dnipro. The enterprise continues to operate steadily and manufacture machinery and equipment to ensure coal production at mines and, accordingly, the reliable operation of thermal power plants and the Ukrainian energy system as a whole.

"I am deeply grateful for this recognition, but my heart knows that it is not only my merit. This is the result of the tireless work of my company's team.  We continue to work to strengthen the country's economy and contribute to its energy independence. Building a strong, free and prosperous Ukraine is our shared responsibility and our path to victory. I am grateful to everyone who fights and works every day for a better future for us and our future generations," said Tatyana Kalugina, Director of Corum Druzhkovka Machine-Building Plant.

In 2023, DTEK Energy's machine builders built 15 coal shearers, manufactured and repaired 750 units of mining equipment, and supplied 1.1 million spare parts to coal companies.
