Corum Group is investing  in the modernization of equipment of “Corum Svet Shakhtera”

“Corum Svet Shakhtera” has completed assembly of 10 new welding machines. The equipment will improve the quality of welded structures and productivity of welding operations at the enterprise.

Replacement of the old welding machines with the new ones is a part of Corum Group investment program, implemented within the adopted Company Development Strategy.

Investments constitute a good indicator of the plant’s development. Modernization of equipment ensures the implementation of the production program and uninterrupted functioning of the equipment and improves the quality of the products. Today, “Corum Svet Shakhtera” is a responsible and reliable enterprise, ensuring steady work and providing social security for its employees, — says Aleksandr Kovalchuk, General Director of “Corum Svet Shakhtera”.

FRONIUS TransSteel 5000 Synergic welding equipment has a built-in set of welding processes, procedures and characteristics allowing to weld materials in the most efficient way.

The new equipment’s advantages will improve the plant’s welding capacity, decrease the risk of a failure of The new equipment, as well as provide an opportunity to obtain an additional positive effect in the form of electric energy saving in the amount of UAH 200 thousand annually, — says Yevgeniy Bazulin, Chief Welder of “Corum Svet Shakhtera”.

The work within the welding operation modernization project began at “Corum Svet Shakhtera” in 2020. Technical support and warranty service for the new equipment will be provided by Fronius-Ukraine service company. The representatives of the company have already provided training for the personnel with respect to the rules for use of the equipment. According to the investment program schedule, commissioning is planned for the end of April of 2021.
